The Town is in the process of developing a Recreation, Parks and Trails Master plan; a comprehensive, multi-year framework which provides a vision and guiding principles for the future our recreation, parks and trails systems and services.
The Master Plan will guide future decision making and municipal investment in recreation, parks, and trail services, programs and facilities over the course of the next 15 years.
Sierra Planning & Management has been retained by the Town to lead the development of the Master Plan. The anticipated completion date for the project is the fall of 2017.
The Master Plan must reflect the needs and priorities of our community and will be developed through extensive consultation. Over the course of the project the consulting team will engage a range of stakeholders, including, but not limited to: community members; private organizations and not-for-profit groups, to help identify needs, issues and priorities as it relates to investment in and the development of recreation, parks and trails in Bracebridge.
Please consider completing the on-line community survey which is available until March 27, 2017.
The Recreation, Parks and Trails Master Plan Information Sheet provides an outline of the objectives of the process, what information will be included, deadlines, the consultants and how to provide input.
