Planning Applications

The Development Services Department is responsible for the review and administration of applications for Planning Approvals and Building Approvals.

 Here we have provided a link to each of our various applications.  You may fill out the application (s), include all applicable fees and required information, and mail by post, addressed to the Development Services Department, or drop it by our Department at 1000 Taylor Court. 

We have included the fee schedule below, as well as application guidelines and timelines.  Please take the time to read carefully the requirements for the application you will be submitting. 

In addition, please refer to the application timelines, which indicates the dates which applications must be submitted to be dealt with at the certain Committee or Council Meetings.

BIA Community Improvement Plan- The BIA Community Improvement Plan establishes a framework for the Town's financial support and implementation of loan and/or grant programs to encourage the maintenance and rehabilitation of building facades and associated signage in downtown Bracebridge.  Such support will enhance the role of the downtown core as a commercial, administrative and cultural centre.  Further, the plan provides the framework for the review and evaluation for facade and signage improvement applications.  The BIA Community Improvement Plan was approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on July 28, 2005 and applications are available from the Town.
