The TO2015 Pan Am Torch Relay is coming through Bracebridge on Tuesday June 9, 2015. The relay will feature a flotilla of boats lead by the Muskoka Rowing Club and a CELEBRATE PADDLING community event at Bracebridge Bay Park. If you are a paddler or are interested in trying out paddlesports in Bracebridge - this event is for you!

TO OBTAIN INFORMATION REGARDING SILTATION OF THE MUSKOKA RIVER
The Town of Bracebridge is seeking input regarding the siltation and erosion that appears to be occurring on the Muskoka River from Lake Muskoka to the confluence of the North and South Branches of the Muskoka River.
On April 1, 2015, Mayor Graydon Smith on behalf of Bracebridge Town Council, announced that, in recognition of the work being undertaken by the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) Board as part of the “Hospital Care for Our Future Generations” long-term planning project, the Town has identified a potential site for a new acute care hospital to service Bracebridge and the entire Muskoka region.
