Enjoy a quick dip or sit and soak in the sun at one of Bracebridge's parks or beaches..
All parks and beaches are unsupervised areas. We encourage you to have fun but also play responsibly around the water. Make sure new swimmers use a personal floatation device while at the water.
While many of our beaches and swimming areas have shallow entry, the lake bed can drop off quickly. Exercise caution in new and unfamiliar areas.
When at the beach, or enjoying a park, please remember:
- Avoid touching surfaces;
- Stay home if you are sick;
- Wear a mask or face covering when physical distancing is not possible;
- Wash your hands with soap and water and/or use hand sanitizer frequently;
- Avoid crowded areas;
- Beach and park amenities are not sanitized;
- Avoid swallowing, spitting or spouting water when swimming; and
- Team sports/group games are not recommended.
