Garbage and recycling collection services in the Town of Bracebridge are provided by the District Municipality of Muskoka.
Services
The District provides our residents with a number of waste services, including:
- Garbage
- Green Bin
- Hazardous and Electronic Waste
- Landfill and Transfer Sites
- Leaf and Yard Waste
- Recycling
Compost Giveaway – 2021 Events Postponed
Each year around Earth Day, Towns and Townships in Muskoka pick up loads of compost from the District and schedule events to give it away to residents.
As our community continues to monitor COVID-19 and variants of concern, Compost Giveaway Events have been postponed.
Residents are encouraged to visit Muskoka’s Town or Township’s websites and watch for updates.
