What is a Complaint? |
A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction related to a Town of Bracebridge program, service, facility, or staff member, where a citizen believes that the Town has not provided a service experience to the customer's satisfaction at the point of service delivery and a response or resolution is explicitly or implicitly expected. |
Submitting a Complaint |
To submit a formal complaint to the Town, you will be asked to provide the following information:
All complaints will be dealt with in a confidential manner according to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Act. More information on the Act is available on our website. |

The Town's complaint process is not deemed to be exhaused until the Chief Administrative Officer has been notified of the complaint and has responded to the complainant. If you have followed the above process, and the Town's Chief Administrative Officer has been directly involved and has been unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may submit a complaint to the Ontario Ombudsman. |
