BRACEBRIDGE, ON (March 2, 2023) – Effective Monday, March 13 at 12:01 a.m., the annual reduced load limit will be in place to ensure the road base on all Town of Bracebridge roadways are not damaged due to thawing temperatures and heavy vehicles. Temporary signage will be installed to remind drivers of the restriction, however the absence of signage does not waive the restriction. The load limit will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31 unless otherwise specified.
UPDATE (May 9, 2023) - The annual reduced load limit will be lifted on May 15.
