The best that Muskoka has to offer is waiting for you here in the heart of one of the country's most beautiful regions. Welcome to Bracebridge - we invite you to TASTE, CREATE and LIVE "THE BRIDGE" ...your way!
Just two hours from both downtown Toronto and North Bay, Bracebridge is situated on the Muskoka River and overlooks the famous Bracebridge Falls, the most significant waterfall in Muskoka.
Bracebridge offers some of the best all-round recreation in Ontario. Whether you are a Weekend Warrior, Explorer, Foodie, Shopper, Artist or Wellness Seeker, you can pursue your passion in THE BRIDGE all year round.
A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE - WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL
During the spring and summer months, the lakes and rivers surrounding Bracebridge make it a perfect place to be, whether you're into water sports, relaxing on the dock at the cottage, adventure travel or exploring the beauty of the region from one of the area's many resorts.
Situated on the 45th Parallel halfway between The Equator and the North Pole, makes Bracebridge the perfect spot for Santa to spend the warm months of summer relaxing and living the joy of Christmas. Santa's Village is a great place to spend time with family and friends of all ages! For the adventurers, check out Aerial Adventure Park.
With Fall comes a cavalcade of colour unrivalled anywhere. In 2016, Huffington Post ranked Muskoka as having the best fall colours in the country and for good reason. Visit THE BRIDGE at this beautiful time of year and experience the majesty of the season first-hand.
As the fastest growing winter tourism destination in the district, outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, skating at Memorial Park, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and even "Snowga" are immensely popular in THE BRIDGE.
A winter highlight is our annual Fire & Ice Festival - this award winning celebration of winter is a fun twist on a winter carnival. A downtown tube run and a host of winter activities are complemented by fire artists and interactive ice displays throughout town.
Come up to our wonderland of white and experience winter, any way you like.
