  • Student By-law Enforcement Officer | Closes February 6, 2026

    Reporting to the Manager of By-Law Enforcement or designate, the Student By-Law Enforcement Officer is responsible for assisting with the monitoring of compliance with the Town of Bracebridge by-laws; identifying, investigating, and reporting offences; enforcing Town by-laws in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations and policies; and providing education and awareness about the Town’s by-laws to members of the Public.

  • Facility Operator 2 | Closes January 30, 2026

    Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Coordinator or designate, the Facility Operator 2 will be responsible for recreation facilities including pools, arena, and fieldhouse. Maintaining these facilities to the highest quality standards of building maintenance and cleanliness, including janitorial and cleaning tasks, operation of a variety of equipment, performance of regular facility checks, ensuring pool chemistry is within the Public Health requirements, responsible for maintaining good quality ice entering readings in logs/reports, security and supervision of facilities is required when working alone. Supervision of the facility is required from time to time when working alone.

  • Camp Counsellor (20 vacancies) | Open Until Filled

    Reporting to the Recreation Programmer or designate, the Camp Counsellor is responsible for planning and delivering high quality camp programming that is inclusive, engaging and enjoyable for all camp participants. The Camp Counsellor also maintains a safe and welcoming environment for all participants and is responsible for delivering care, supervision and activities to camp participants.

  • Inclusion Counsellor (4 vacancies) | Open Until Filled

    Reporting to the Recreation Programmer or designate, the Inclusion Counsellor is responsible for providing one-to-one personal care and direct supervision of individuals with exceptionalities in a recreation program setting. The Inclusion Counsellor maintains a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants and supports recreation program staff in delivering high quality programs for all participants.

    Reporting to the Parks and Trails Foreperson, Public Works Foreperson or designate, the Public Works Student performs general landscape and maintenance labour services to municipal parks, trails, gardens, facilities and roads as part of a dynamic team responsible for keeping Bracebridge beautiful and safe.

  • Student - Septic Re-Inspection Program | Closes January 23, 2026

    Reporting to the Deputy Chief Building Official or designate, the Septic Re-inspection Program Student is responsible for inspecting existing private sewage systems and providing the owners of private sewage systems with information related to the Septic Re-inspection Program. This position also provides customer service and administrative support and responds to public inquiries related to the Septic Re-inspection program.
