Annual maintenance at Bracebridge Sportsplex
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (August 26, 2026) – Annual maintenance at the Bracebridge Sportsplex will take place from September 4 at 6:30 p.m. to September 21 at 6:30 a.m.
September 4 to 13
The building will be closed to the public during this time. Walking track hours and select fitness classes will be available at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre. For schedules, visit bracebridge.ca/programs.
While the Sportsplex pool is closed, patrons can access the pool at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville using their Town of Bracebridge memberships. For pool programs and schedules, visit huntsville.ca.
September 14 to 20
The Bracebridge Sportsplex will reopen to the public. Patrons can access the indoor walking track and Kubota North Wellness Centre. Scheduled fitness programming will also take place. The pool and climbing wall remain closed.
Facility Maintenance
Facility maintenance improvements include:
- Replacing leisure pool circulation pumps;
- Deep facility cleaning, waxing floors and painting walls; and
- A thorough cleaning of the pool deck and changerooms.
Climbing wall improvements include:
- A thorough cleaning of all holds, climbing wall panels, equipment, harnesses, helmets and ropes; and
- Re-setting the holds for future climbers to enjoy new paths and challenges.
Fall Registration
Fall session registration begins on Wednesday, September 2 at 7:30 a.m. Program schedules are now available online to preview at bracebridge.ca/programs.
