Annual sidewalk improvement projects begin this month
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (May 8, 2026) – The Town of Bracebridge will complete a series of sidewalk improvements on the following streets as part of its annual municipal infrastructure maintenance.
Select concrete sidewalk replacements

- Clearstream Court from Clearbrook Trail to the cul-de-sac
- Meadow Heights Drive from Moreland Court to 130 metres west
- Victoria Street from Quebec Street to Dill Street
Select asphalt sidewalk replacements
- Taylor Road (MR42) from Toronto Street to Woodchester Avenue
Select curb replacements
- Sadler Drive from Palmer Court to 90 metres north
The selected sections of sidewalk replacements were chosen based on the results of the annual sidewalk condition assessment which evaluates sidewalk conditions and rates each sidewalk section. These improvements are scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
The Town is committed to maintaining a safe and orderly work site. Dust, noise, heavy equipment, and temporary driveway closures will be present while work takes place. The Town will attempt to minimize disruptions and appreciates the public’s patience while it works to upgrade the infrastructure.
