Free Bracebridge Transit service to support voting in the Municipal Election

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (October 1, 2026) – It’s never been easier to cast your vote in the Municipal Election. Beginning Wednesday, October 14, Bracebridge Transit will service a temporary bus stop at the Municipal Office at 1000 Taylor Court to support residents who are voting. Plus, Bracebridge Transit service will be free for all riders from October 14 to 26, helping to remove transportation barriers and make it easier for residents to exercise their important civic responsibility and participate in the Municipal election.

Temporary bus stop at 1000 Taylor Court:

  • Wednesday, October 14 from 9:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 15 to Monday, October 26 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
  • Weekday service only

Important information:

  • Voters must be dropped off at the Municipal Office by 3:45 p.m. to vote.
  • The last transit pickup from the Municipal Office is at 4:45 p.m.
  • The bus will not wait while passengers vote.

Residents are encouraged to plan their trip in advance and allow sufficient time to arrive at the Municipal Office, vote and return to their transit stop. Service runs on a one-hour loop.
