Memorial Park pathway improvements to begin next week

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (October 8, 2026) – Improvements to the pathway through Memorial Park will begin next week, with construction expected to take up to two weeks to complete.

The existing interlock pathway that runs the length of the park will be removed and replaced with a wider, paved pathway designed to improve accessibility and make it easier for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to move through the park.

Construction will take place in phases, allowing Memorial Park to remain open throughout the work. Some temporary disruptions should be expected as crews complete each section of the pathway.

During this time, 10 parking spaces along Rene Caisse Lane will be unavailable.
