Muskoka businesses invited to explore succession planning, AI and the future of marketing at Muskoka Business Forum

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (October 9, 2026) – Local business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to come together at the Gravenhurst Opera House this Small Business Week for a day of learning, networking and practical insights designed to help Muskoka businesses thrive.

Muskoka Business Forum | The New Era: Succession, AI, and the Future of Marketing
Wednesday, October 21 from 12 to 5 p.m.
Gravenhurst Opera House, 295 Muskoka Rd S, Gravenhurst

Presented by the Town of Gravenhurst in partnership with the Muskoka Small Business Centre, the event will bring together the local business community for a networking lunch, expert presentations and opportunities to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Event sessions include:

  • Succession Ontario, a new Ontario Government initiative designed to help business owners maximize the value of their businesses, plan for the future, retain jobs and protect their legacy;
  • The Future of Marketing, highlighting emerging trends and how marketing is changing in response to new tools and evolving economic realities; and
  • Practical AI for Business, led by Emily Baillie of Compass Content. AI is rapidly changing how businesses work, communicate and serve their customers. Baillie will provide practical examples, and a live demonstration of ways businesses can use AI to support everyday work, while also exploring its risks and limitations.

Attendees will leave with new ideas, useful information and opportunities to connect with others in Muskoka’s business community. A networking lunch will be catered by North Catering.
