ARE YOU ON THE VOTERS LIST?

THE 2026 MUNICIPAL ELECTION IS FAST APPROACHING!

Check the list online at www.bracebridgevotes.ca, by phone at (705) 645-5264, or in person at the Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court, during regular business hours.

A person can vote in the Bracebridge Municipal Election if, during the Voting Period, they:

  • Are a Canadian citizen;
  • Are at least 18 years old;
  • Reside in the Town of Bracebridge, or is the owner or tenant of land in the Town of Bracebridge, or their spouse/common law partner; and
  • Are not prohibited from voting by the Municipal Elections Act (MEA) or other legislation because they:
    • Are serving a sentence of imprisonment in a penal or correctional institution; or
    • Are a corporation; or
    • Are acting as an executor or trustee or in any other representative capacity; or
    • Were convicted of a corrupt practice described in Section 90(3) of the Municipal Elections Act, if voting day in the current election is less than five years after voting day in the election in respect of which they were convicted.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ELECTOR TO ENSURE THEY ARE ON THE LIST.

Expect your Voter Information Letter in your mailbox by October 14, 2026. Don’t miss out, make sure you are on the list!

The VOTING PERIOD begins on October 14 at 10:00 a.m. and ends on October 26 at 8:00 p.m.
