Storm sewer improvements and road resurfacing
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (August 17, 2026) – The Town of Bracebridge will be undertaking storm sewer improvements and road resurfacing works on Hillcrest Avenue and Spruce Lane. These upgrades will improve drainage, reduce surface water accumulation, and enhance roadway conditions for the local community.
- Hillcrest Avenue, from Civic Address 38 to Spruce Lane; and
- Spruce Lane, from Hillcrest Avenue to Woodland Drive.
Road resurfacing will also take place on Ann Street from Aubrey Street to River Road.
Construction is anticipated to start the week of August 24 and is expected to be completed by early October. Residents can expect some increased noise and dust during construction. Every effort will be made to maintain a safe, clean worksite.
Single lane traffic disruptions can be expected throughout construction. Access to driveways will be maintained at all times. Residents may receive advance notice if short-term driveway restrictions are required during specific construction activities. There will be no impacts to emergency services or waste collection.
