We’re Seeking Bracebridge Youth Ambassadors


Are you a Bracebridge resident, between 14 to 19 years of age with a strong academic background? Would you like to travel to Norway in August, 2015 as a Youth Ambassador representing the Town of Bracebridge? If so, you are invited to submit an application for consideration by the: Town of Bracebridge-Gol, Norway Friendship Committee.

The Bracebridge Off Leash Dog Park Committee has received approval to build a Dog Park in the southwest corner of James W. Kerr Park.


The Dog Park will span an area around 1.7 acres and will cost approximately $40,000 to build which includes fencing, gates, hardware, drainage, garbage receptacles and signage. 


The Dog park will be divided into two sections, one for large dogs and the other for small dogs. 


The committee is pleased to announce they received a $15,000 donation, from the TransCanada Corporation to assist in the development of the Dog Park.

The Town of Bracebridge approved Development Charges By-law 2014-051 on the 2nd day of July 2014 under section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997.  Schedule “B” of the By-law imposes the following Residential Development Charges:
