    Reporting to the Manager of Revenue/Tax Collector or designate, the Senior Tax Administrator supports the effective administration of property tax and municipal accommodation tax for the Town of Bracebridge. The key responsibilities related to property tax administration include, overseeing the Town’s preauthorized payment plan program, completing month-end processes, conducting regular tax roll maintenance, and assisting with tax registrations and roll adjustments.

    Reporting to the Wellness and Aquatics Coordinator or designate, the Aquatics Lead Instructor is responsible maintaining a safe and welcoming aquatic environment by providing quality programs such as recreational swims, swim lessons, and aqua fitness. The Aquatics Lead Instructor is responsible for conducting mentoring and training part-time staff, as well as performing lifeguarding and swim instructing duties.

    Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources or designate, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day human resources activities with a focus on full cycle recruitment and selection, workplace health, safety and wellness, and HR administration. The Human Resources Coordinator is the first point of contact for the Branch and demonstrates exceptional customer service by providing assistance and guidance to employees and managers and serves as a liaison to community partners and the public.

    Reporting to the Recreation Programmer or designate, the Camp Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising high quality camp programming that is inclusive, stimulating and enjoyable for all camp participants. The Camp Coordinator also supervises Camp Counsellors and Volunteers to ensure the maintenance of a safe and welcoming environment for all participants and the successful delivery of care, supervision and activities to camp participants. This role oversees operational and administrative tasks, facilitates staff training and serves as a mentor and resource for camp counsellors and volunteers throughout the summer.

The Camp Counsellor also maintains a safe and welcoming environment for all participants and is responsible for delivering care, supervision and activities to camp participants.

    Reporting to the Recreation Programmer or designate, the Inclusion Counsellor is responsible for providing one-to-one personal care and direct supervision of individuals with exceptionalities in a recreation program setting. The Inclusion Counsellor maintains a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants and supports recreation program staff in delivering high quality programs for all participants.

    Reporting to the Parks and Trails Foreperson, Public Works Foreperson or designate, the Public Works Student performs general landscape and maintenance labour services to municipal parks, trails, gardens, facilities and roads as part of a dynamic team responsible for keeping Bracebridge beautiful and safe.

  • Student - Septic Re-Inspection Program | Closes January 23, 2026

    Reporting to the Deputy Chief Building Official or designate, the Septic Re-inspection Program Student is responsible for inspecting existing private sewage systems and providing the owners of private sewage systems with information related to the Septic Re-inspection Program. This position also provides customer service and administrative support and responds to public inquiries related to the Septic Re-inspection program.
