Reporting to the Wellness and Aquatics Coordinator or designate, the Aquatics Lead Instructor is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming aquatic environment by providing quality programs such as recreation swims, swim lessons, and aqua fitness. The Aquatics Lead Instructor is responsible for conducting mentoring and training part-time staff, as well as performing lifeguarding and swim instructing duties.

Building Inspector Level 1 | Closes July 20, 2026
Reporting to the Chief Building Official, the Building Inspector Level 1 will be responsible for independently and professionally facilitating construction and demolition activities in the Town of Bracebridge by conducting inspections of buildings, and maintaining effective and cooperative liaison with home and business owners, contractors, designers, architects, engineers, other professionals and the general public. The incumbent is responsible for exercising the powers and performing duties under the Building Code and the Town’s Property Standards By-law as well as enforcement activities under the Town’s Zoning By-law and Site Plan Control By-law as well as other municipal regulations including working with property owners to obtain voluntary compliance or compliance through legal means. Building Inspector Level 1 will provide excellent customer service and will work well in a team environment.

Facility Assistant | Open Until Filled
Reporting to the Manager of Facilities or designate, the Facility Assistant is responsible for maintaining safe and clear facilities, assembling and disassembling room and event set-ups and performing custodial services to ensure the facilities and equipment are well-maintained and safe to operate and occupy. The Facility Assistant will also perform minor maintenance tasks.

Reporting to the Administrative Assistant, the Library Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, clean, secure, and efficient operation of the Bracebridge Library and associated public and staff spaces. This position performs custodial duties, preventative maintenance, room and event setups, facility inspections, minor repairs, and operational support to ensure the library remains welcoming, functional, and maintained to a high standard for patrons, staff, and community partners.
The Library Facilities Technician plays an important role in supporting the overall patron experience while helping maintain a safe, accessible, and secure environment within a busy, modern public library facility.

Customer Service Assistant | Open Until Filled
Reporting to the Recreation Business Services Coordinator or designate, the Customer Service Assistant is responsible for promoting events and programs, collecting payment for admissions, and ensuring cash is balanced at the end of each shift. The Customer Service Assistant will also provide information to the public regarding activity schedules and admission rates, answer and direct phone calls, print reports and assist with administrative and light duty cleaning.
