  • Planning and Development Committee Meeting | February 4, 2026

    Take notice that the Planning and Development Committee will hold a hybrid public meeting on February 4, 2026 at 2:30 P.M. This meeting will be held in a Hybrid format in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, and the Town’s Procedure By-law, which provide for Electronic Participation.

  • Public Notice: Bell Mobility X6461 Bracebridge

    Bell is proposing to construct a 50m self-support lattice antenna tower with a 1.65m x 2.4m equipment shelter. A 2.4m high welded wire security fence will surround the tower and shelter.


    As part of the public consultation process as required by Innovation Science & Economic Development Canada (ISED), Bell’s regulator under the Radiocommunications Act, Bell is inviting the public to comment on the proposed tower location before January 14, 2026 in compliance with the Town of Bracebridge Telecommunication Tower Protocol. This tower is fully compliant with ISED’s guidelines, as found under the CPC 2-0-03.

  • Committee of Adjustment for Minor Variance | December 15, 2025

    Take notice that the Committee of Adjustment for Minor Variance will hold a hybrid public meeting on December 15, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.

    This meeting will be held in a Hybrid format in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, and the Town’s Procedure By-law, which provide for Electronic Participation.

  • Committee of Adjustment for Consents | November 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m.

    The Committee of Adjustment for Consents will hold a hybrid public meeting on November 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The following applications will be considered:

  • Notice of Applications for Consent | September 9, 2025

    Notice of Application for Consent under Section 53 of the Planning Act, 1990. The following applications are considered complete:

    • D10-51/24 Keeble and D10-20/25 Moody
  • Official Plan Review | Notice of Open House and Public Meeting

    The Town of Bracebridge is in the process of preparing an update to the Official Plan to guide the future of the Town. The result of the Official Plan update has been the preparation of an Official Plan Amendment to make several changes to the Official Plan for the Town.

  • Notice of Removal of the Holding (H) Symbol

    Notice is provided in accordance with Section 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, however there is no public hearing process with respect to amending a by-law to remove the Holding (H) Symbol. 

    The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge passed By-law 2016-088 on November 29, 2016 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, repealing By-law 2016-049, for the property owned by James Watson, legally described as part of Lot 10, Concession 13, Macaulay Ward, Town of Bracebridge, being Parts 1 and 2 of Registered Plan 35R-22579. Permitted uses are limited on the subject property until such time that an amending by-law is passed. The earliest date on which Council proposes to meet to pass the amending by-law to remove the Holding (H) Symbol is February 12, 2025.
