Spring and summer program, swim lessons and camp registration begins March 11

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (February 26, 2026) – While the weather is still cool and crisp, the Town of Bracebridge’s Recreation team is planning for the warmer, active months ahead. New this year, registration for spring and summer programs, swim lessons and summer camp begins on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:30 a.m. Program schedules are now available online to preview at bracebridge.ca/programs.

Popular courses and camp fill up quickly. Be prepared for registration day.

Tip: If you are registering for summer camps, secure your camp spot first, then you can register for extended childcare if needed.

Summer Camp
The Town of Bracebridge has a variety of day camp options available for children of all ages and interests to stay active and engaged this summer.

  • Fun Fest Camp: For ages 5 to 12 years old. This traditional summer day camp provides campers with the opportunity to engage in active and creative play in a group of similarly aged children. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, rock climbing, sports and active group games.
  • Specialty/Activity Camps: For ages 9 to 14. Activity camps provide campers with the opportunity to spend time doing a particular activity of interest such as horseback riding, golf, cooking, volleyball, robotics and more.
  • NEW Theme Camps: For ages 5 to 8. Each week features a unique theme and corresponding activities including outer space, easy bake, little builders, wizard academy and more.
  • NEW Satellite Camp at Oakley Village Square: For ages 5 to 12 years old. Enjoy a fun-filled Fun Fest camp experience for local campers.

General Interest Programs & Workshops
The Town offers a variety of general interest programs every session taught by community members and experts in their fields. Whether you are interested in learning to play volleyball, give karate a try or participate in one of the many wellness programs, there are a variety of classes available for all ages and abilities. Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are available in the Spring and Summer for ages 4 months to adult. If you are unsure what level to register in, please contact Customer Service for assistance.
