Temporary on-street parking restrictions and detours in effect for the See Muskoka Through Our Eyes Traditional Powwow

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (June 27, 2025) – The Town of Bracebridge and District Municipality of Muskoka will implement on-street parking restrictions, road closures and detours on June 28 and June 29 to help facilitate traffic to the See Muskoka Through Our Eyes Traditional Powwow taking place in Annie Williams Memorial Park.

In accordance with the On-Street Parking By-Law 2015-029, the following temporary parking restrictions will be in effect during the event.
  • Brofoco Drive from Santa’s Village Road (MR 15) to Southerly 340 Metres (33 & 38 Brofoco Drive), East/West Side
  • Ewing Street from Santa’s Village Road (MR 15) to Dill Street, West Side
  • Spadina Avenue from Santa’s Village Road (MR 15) to Dill Street, West Side
  • Spencer Street from Santa’s Village Road (MR 15) to Dill Street, West Side
Event Entrance/Exit
All event attendees will enter via Dill Street to Ewing Street and exit via Spencer Street to Dill Street.
  • Ewing Street will temporarily become a one-way street from north to south for vehicles to access Santa’s Village Road from Dill Street.
  • Spencer Street will temporarily become a one-way street from south to north for vehicles to access Dill Street from Santa’s Village Road. 
Drivers are asked to follow the detour signs to Dill Street and turn west at the stop lights. Local access will be available for residents.

Parking
Event parking is available at the following locations:
  • Annie Williams Memorial Park; 
  • Wellington Street Pentecostal Church;
  • Dewey Institute and Georgian College; and the 
  • Rotary Centre for Youth.
Road Closure
The District Municipality of Muskoka will implement a temporary road closure of Santa’s Village Road (MR 15) between Wellington Street (MR 118 W) and Spencer Street on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Please be respectful of area residents, follow all temporary on-site signage and refer to the detour map below.
