The Wood Lake Cottagers’ Association has engaged a contractor to dredge the boat launch at Fox Point Road. A road occupation permit has been obtained, and as a result, the boat launch will be closed to the public from August 24 to 28.
The Town of Bracebridge will be undertaking storm sewer improvements and road resurfacing works on Hillcrest Avenue and Spruce Lane.
Effective immediately, the District Municipality of Muskoka has temporarily closed the Silver Bridge on Ecclestone Drive pending a detailed structural assessment. There will be NO access across Silver Bridge for vehicles or pedestrians.
