Town parks, trails and cemeteries remain closed until seasonal opening

BRACEBRIDGE, ON (April 17, 2025) – The Town of Bracebridge is reminding residents and visitors that all municipal parks, trails, and cemeteries remain closed for the season and are not maintained during the winter months. Despite warmer temperatures, please use extreme caution in these areas and avoid visiting all together. These locations will reopen once seasonal maintenance can take place and weather conditions allow.

Due to the recent ice storm, these locations have experienced excessive debris, fallen branches, and other storm-related hazards. For everyone’s safety, the public is asked to stay clear of these locations while Town crews work diligently to complete the necessary cleanup and ensure all areas are safe for use.

On-site signage and barriers will be placed where necessary. The absence of signage does not indicate the site is available for use. The Town will issue an update when these locations open for the season.
