What’s on during the holidays: facility hours and programming
BRACEBRIDGE, ON (December 15, 2025) – Due to the holidays, hours of operation for Town services and facilities will vary. Please refer to the chart below for details.
Bracebridge Fire
Bracebridge Fire Station 1 will be closed to the public on Thursday, December 25, Friday, December 26 and Thursday, January 1, 2026.
In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1. Residents are encouraged to download the Voyent Alert App to receive updates and notifications right to their mobile device in the event of an emergency. Users can also create multiple alerts depending on location and members of the household.

Bracebridge Library
The Bracebridge Library will be closed on:
- Christmas Eve on Wednesday, December 24
- Christmas Day on Thursday, December 25
- Boxing Day on Friday, December 26
- New Year’s Eve on Wednesday, December 31
- New Year’s Day on Thursday, January 1, 2026
While the Bracebridge Library is closed for select days over the holidays, card holders can enjoy free online resources 24/7. For access to eBooks, magazines, newspapers, online courses, reference centers, and more, visit bracebridgelibrary.ca/online-resources.
Bracebridge Transit
Bracebridge Transit and Bracebridge Mobility will not operate on the following days:
- Christmas Day on Thursday, December 25
- Boxing Day on Friday, December 26
- New Year’s Day on Thursday, January 1, 2026

The Bracebridge Sportsplex and Muskoka Lumber Community Centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day and have modified hours during the holidays. Please refer to the chart for details.
