I, Mayor Rick Maloney, hereby issue this direction to staff in accordance with s.284.3, 284.4 and 284.16 of the Municipal Act, 2001, to prepare and present the 2026 Mayor’s Budget and Business Plan as shown in the 2026 Mayor’s Budget and Business Plan Development Guidelines and Schedule contained in Staff Report FN012-25, using the incremental methodology as has been undertaken in the development of past budgets.

Reporting to the Manager of Recreation Programs and Services or designate, the Recreation Programmer – Wellness is responsible for the delivery of the Town’s recreation programs and events through the creation of new programs, planning, scheduling, program supervision, staff supervision, leading programs as needed, and providing quality customer service to patrons.
Reporting to the Recreation Business Services Coordinator or designate, the Customer Service Assistant is responsible for promoting events and programs, collecting payment for admissions, and ensuring cash is balanced at the end of each shift. The Customer Service Assistant will also provide information to the public regarding activity schedules and admission rates, answer and direct phone calls, print reports and assist with administrative and light duty cleaning.

Beginning in July, the Town of Bracebridge is constructing a new signalized pedestrian crossover on Clearbrook Trail at the intersection of Windsong Crescent and Rosemead Close. Temporary lane closures may take place during the construction period.
