The countdown is on! The Town of Bracebridge is marking its 150-year anniversary in 2025 and has some exciting events and activities planned to celebrate.

The Town of Bracebridge’s Emergency Control Group continues to monitor the outcome of the recent winter storm event. Public Works crews continue to clear roads, monitor weather and are focusing on sidewalk maintenance. 

The Bracebridge Fire Department will be performing targeted wellness checks with members of the community that are still without power due to the winter storm event. Specific locations have been determined based on information supplied by Hydro One and other local community agencies.

The Town of Bracebridge’s Emergency Control Group continues to monitor the outcome of the weekends winter storm event. Public Works crews have been working tirelessly to maintain road operations and are now focusing on pushing snow back to increase storage capacity and maintain visibility.

Due to the winter weather event that brought significant snowfall to Bracebridge over the past weekend, the door-to-door food drive in support of the Salvation Army South Muskoka Ministries has been postponed.

Town of Bracebridge recreation facilities are experiencing power outages due to the winter storm. As a result, some amenities are unavailable. All user groups and rental parties have been contacted.

Town cemeteries will close for the season beginning Wednesday, November 27. No interments or monument installations will take place.

A Noise Exemption has been issued to the Bracebridge & Muskoka Lakes Rotary Club.

The Town of Bracebridge is committed to maintaining service levels while Canada Post workers are on strike. Several Town services and payments can be accessed online or in-person at the Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court.
