TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the provisions of the Delegation of Authority By-law, the Acting Director of Public Works has granted an exemption to the reduced load designation on roads under the jurisdiction of the Town for home heating fuel delivery. This exemption is effective April 4, 2025 and shall remain in effect until revoked by the Acting Director of Public Works.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) has extended the Flood Warning bulletin for all watersheds in Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound until Friday, April 11. This includes the Muskoka River Watershed and Black River.
As localized power outages continue due to this past weekend’s freezing rain event, residents still without power are urged to take advantage of warming stations and be diligent around live wires.
The Town of Bracebridge invites residents and visitors to lace up their skates one last time this season at the Muskoka Lumber Arena on Sunday, April 13. The day will feature two free public skating sessions with complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn provided by Brews and Bites.
The Town of Bracebridge’s Emergency Control Group continues to monitor the outcome of the weekend’s freezing rain event and is working closely with partner organizations to facilitate clean up and power restoration as soon as possible.
Take notice that the Committee of Adjustment for Minor Variance will hold a hybrid public meeting on April 14, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.
This meeting will be held in a Hybrid format in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, and the Town’s Procedure By-law, which provide for Electronic Participation.
Residents are reminded that all Town of Bracebridge parks and trails are closed and not maintained during the off season.
Beginning this afternoon, the Bracebridge Fire Department will begin performing targeted wellness checks with members of the community that are unable to leave their property due to fallen power lines and are still without electricity.
