With the new UseTransit online payment and card loading system, riders can check balances, add funds to their waveCARD, or purchase and renew easyPASS monthly passes anytime, from any device. No more waiting in line—just load, tap, and ride.
To take advantage of online payments, riders will need a new waveCARD or easyPASS card that is compatible with the new service. Riders with existing cards can trade in their cards for a new one for free before December 31. Beginning January 1, 2026, riders will need to purchase new cards for a cost of $5 per card.
