  • Winter session registration begins December 4 

    The Town of Bracebridge Recreation department is pleased to offer a winter session full of programs and events that help support the health and wellbeing of the community. Winter session registration begins on Wednesday, December 4 at 7:30 a.m. Program schedules will be available to preview beginning Monday, November 25.

  • Enbridge Gas assists Bracebridge Fire Department in supporting firefighter training

    Enbridge Gas Inc. (Enbridge Gas) is helping the Bracebridge Fire Department purchase firefighting training materials, through Safe Community Project Assist–a program with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) that supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in the communities where Enbridge Gas operates.

    The Town of Bracebridge is seeking sponsors to support programming and events at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre during the holidays

    This holiday season, give the gift of shopping local. With every Shop The Bridge gift card purchased between November 12 and 30, purchasers will receive a 25% bonus e-gift card, while supplies last.
  • Bracebridge residents recognized for community contributions

    On Saturday, November 9, the Town of Bracebridge recognized and celebrated community members for their contributions at the Community Recognition Awards in the Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre.

  • Flags lowered to half-mast to honour Murray Sinclair
    The Town of Bracebridge has lowered flags to half-mast at the Municipal Office, Taylor Road roundabout and Muskoka Lumber Community Centre to recognize the passing of the Honourable Murray Sinclair.
  • Town working on the development of a cemetery master plan
    The Town of Bracebridge is working with LEES+Associates to develop a Cemetery Master Plan to guide the future development, operation, care, and maintenance of cemeteries in Bracebridge.
  • Specialized fire training taking place November 2 
    The Bracebridge Fire Department will be conducting specialized training on Saturday, November 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1056 Spring Lake Road. Fire apparatus will be present and artificial training smoke will be used and may be visible to the public. Signage will be placed out front of the property to inform the community.
  • Update to Heritage Walking Trail signage
    Beginning today, the Town of Bracebridge will begin to remove the signage along the Heritage Walking Trail to prepare for new signage installation in 2025.
  • Carbon monoxide awareness week begins November 1

    From November 1 to 7, Bracebridge Fire and the Town of Bracebridge recognize Carbon Monoxide (CO) Awareness Week and remind the community to recognize the health risks and dangers CO poses.
