  • Town raises the Bracebridge 150 flag to celebrate anniversary milestone

    Today, Mayor Maloney was joined by members of Council, the Bracebridge 150 Advisory Committee and Town staff to raise the Bracebridge 150 flag at the Municipal Office to kick off a milestone year as the town celebrates its 150-year anniversary.

  • Updates to Muskoka Lumber Community Centre

    Due to the winter storm event that took place in early December 2024, the roof of the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre has sustained minor damages that have caused internal leaks. Every effort has been made to repair affected areas, but due to the amount of snow, it has posed to be a challenge. Temporary fixes have been made and will remain in place until dry conditions allow for permanent repairs to be completed.

  • Extreme cold and winter weather forecasted for Bracebridge
    Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for Bracebridge that could bring up to 100 cm of snow through to Wednesday morning. Public Works crews are actively monitoring the weather and will continue to perform winter maintenance operations on all roads and sidewalks.
  • UPDATE | Another round of snow removal taking place in Downtown Bracebridge

    Snow removal operations will continue tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21 until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22.

This comprehensive new space helps support community health and wellbeing, and enhances the Sportsplex amenities by offering visitors access to state-of-the-art equipment seven days a week.

  • Town seeks proposals for the redevelopment of former Memorial Arena site in downtown Bracebridge

    The Town of Bracebridge is seeking proposals for the redevelopment of the former Memorial Arena site and adjacent lands. The Request for Proposal (RFP) invites qualified developers to submit proposals for transforming the vacant 1.48-acre site to support housing supply, affordability and accessibility as well as other community needs.

  • More Winter Weather on the Way

    More winter weather has hit the Bracebridge area. Snow squalls are expected to bring 30 to 50 cm of snow with higher amounts possible.

    The Town of Bracebridge is looking for performers to participate in the Bracebridge 150 Community Celebration and Showcase taking place on June 7 and 8, 2025, at J.D. Lang Activity Park.

  • Snow removal taking place in Downtown Bracebridge on December 17

    Rolling road closures will take place from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18 to facilitate snow removal in Downtown Bracebridge.
