March Break is right around the corner, and the Town of Bracebridge has activities planned that the whole family can enjoy.

The Town of Bracebridge is taking a significant step forward in delivering new affordable housing in the downtown core.

I, Mayor Rick Maloney, hereby approve the by-laws passed at the Town of Bracebridge Special Council meeting held on March 3, 2026 in accordance with s. 284.11(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

The March 3, 2026 Council Correspondence is now available.

Effective Monday, March 9 at 12:01 a.m., the annual reduced load limit will be in place to ensure the road base on all Town of Bracebridge roadways are not damaged due to thawing temperatures and heavy vehicles.

Take notice that the Planning and Development Committee will hold a hybrid public meeting on April 8, 2026 at 2:30 P.M. This meeting will be held in a Hybrid format in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, and the Town’s Procedure By-law, which provide for Electronic Participation.

While the weather is still cool and crisp, the Town of Bracebridge’s Recreation team is planning for the warmer, active months ahead. New this year, registration for spring and summer programs, swim lessons and summer camp begins on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:30 a.m.
