The Town of Bracebridge is inviting local businesses and organizations to help spread holiday cheer by sponsoring community programming and events at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre and Bracebridge Sportsplex this holiday season.
This week marks Small Business Week in Canada, an opportunity to celebrate local entrepreneurs, acknowledge their hard work, and highlight the many supports available to help them succeed. The Town’s Economic Development team is dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a thriving, resilient economy. From helping entrepreneurs start or expand their operations to celebrating business milestones, the team works alongside the community to help turn business goals into a reality.
I, Mayor Rick Maloney, hereby approve the by-laws passed at the Town of Bracebridge Council meeting held on October 15, 2025 in accordance with s. 284.11(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
The Muskoka Lumber Community Centre is celebrating a remarkable first year of operation, having welcomed tens of thousands of participants to its wide range of programs, rentals, and special events. To mark the milestone, the Town of Bracebridge invites the community to a weekend of free programming.
The Town of Bracebridge was proud to once again welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Muskoka Lumber Arena today, where players took to the ice for a special community practice in front of an enthusiastic crowd of local students.
The Town of Bracebridge invites the community to come together in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday, September 30. A flag raising ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court to honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never returned home. Mayor Rick Maloney and Lynda Nicholson will share remarks.
Today, Georgian College announced that they will cease programming at their Muskoka campus in Bracebridge at the end of the 2025/2026 term and will be disposing of their campus facility. This is deeply upsetting news for both our local students and the community.
The Town of Bracebridge is committed to maintaining service levels while Canada Post workers are on strike. Several Town services and payments can be accessed online or in-person at the Municipal Office, 1000 Taylor Court.
