Community members interested in running in the upcoming municipal election are invited to attend a free, interactive workshop designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to serve on Council.

The Town of Bracebridge invites residents and visitors to lace up for the Last Skate of the season, taking place on Sunday, April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Muskoka Lumber Arena. Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning and rainfall warning for Bracebridge.Periods of freezing rain are forecasted to begin tonight or early morning on Wednesday, March 11 and last throughout the day. The Ministry of Natural Resources is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety Bulletin is in effect until Friday, March 13 for the Muskoka River Watershed and Black River. Please exercise caution around bodies of water. A Water Safety rating indicates that high flows, melting ice or other factors could be dangerous, but flooding is not expected.
