The Town of Bracebridge is promoting water safety during National Drowning Prevention Week (NDPW), from July 20 to 26. Organized by the Lifesaving Society, this annual initiative aims to raise awareness about drowning risks and promote safe behaviour in and around water. This year’s theme is Safer Together and aims to raise awareness around the importance of not swimming or boating alone.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge proposes to enact an amended Fees and Charges By-law.

The Town of Bracebridge will begin its annual roadside mowing program at the end of June to help reduce tall roadside vegetation areas to improve drainage and visibility for the safety of motorists, cyclists and pedestrians along approximately 300 kilometres of municipal roads.

Beginning in July, the Town of Bracebridge is constructing a new signalized pedestrian crossover on Clearbrook Trail at the intersection of Windsong Crescent and Rosemead Close. Temporary lane closures may take place during the construction period.

Due to the District of Muskoka's road resurfacing project on Manitoba Street, bus stop #340 Manitoba Street (at Fairways Court) is temporarily out of service until construction is complete.
