Event Signs

Do you have a Special Event Permit?

  • If you have already obtained a Town of Bracebridge Special Event Permit, the fee is waived and the sign permit is included with your event permit.
  • If you will not be obtaining a Special Event Permit, but believe your event still qualifies as a 'Community Event', then you will need to apply for a sign permit.

Signage plays an important role in helping residents, businesses, organizations and event organizers share information, promote activities and guide people safely through our community. To ensure signs are safe, accessible and visually appropriate, the Town of Bracebridge regulates signage through the Sign By-law.

Most permanent signage in the Town of Bracebridge requires a sign permit to be obtained prior to it being installed. It’s important to understand what’s allowed before putting up your sign.
